Hitchin Store Refurbishment 

Our Hitchin store re-opened this morning after a month long refurbishment and the results are stunning. It was lovely to see a small queue of regular customers waiting for the store to open and great to hear their positive comments. Just over three weeks into the refurbishment and we are nearing completion, the builders have left and we're busy unpacking our fabulous new season's stock. It won't be long now until we can show off our new look store to our customers ... keep an eye on our social media or sign up for our emails to hear about the grand opening.

The past week has seen a transformation of the store with a new colour scheme starting to appear and the cabinets taking shape. Our brass lamps over the till area look fantastic against the blue.

Almost one week in, the cabinets are taking shape and the new flooring is in. The store team have been busy receiving new stock, keeping the whole store clean and keeping the workmen topped up with tea and Penguin biscuits.

Day 1 - and the shop floor has been cleared of stock by our hard working store team. The windows have been emptied and covered, signs are up and some of the display furniture that isn't changing has been covered over. 

Our Vinegar Hill store in Hitchin will be closing for refurbishment at 5.30pm on Saturday 10th August. This is expected to take six weeks. Follow us on social media or keep an eye on our website for news of the grand reopening of our new look store in the Autumn.
